Position
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall plant quality leadership for Rogersville Plant Operations.
Position has two direct reports: Quality Systems Engineer and Supplier Quality Engineer. Note: Plant Quality Engineers report to Business Unit Managers, however, this position assists with overall plant quality leadership including providing direction and coaching of quality engineers.
Insures that a quality system is established and maintained in accordance with customer and TRW internal requirements as well as TS-16949.
Responsible for operations-level reporting on the performance of the quality system to management for review as a basis for improvement to the quality system.
Serves as liaison with customers or other external parties on matters relating to the quality system.
Leads strategic quality action planning and implementation via communications updates of visual site management boards (BCC and PCC boards).
Reports directly to the Plant Manager with dotted line reporting to Sr. Quality Manager.
Some travel involved
Qualifications:
Education : B. S. degree in Engineering, or related field or equivalent quality work experience is preferred.
Experience : Supervisory experience required.
Familiarity with manufacturing metal cutting processes and assembly preferred. Product knowledge desirable. Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification preferred. Proven problem solver skills required.

BS Degree Required; BS Engineering preferred. Quality Engineer Certification a plus.
