Accounting / Plant Coordinator - Mechanical

Performs accounting and administrative duties as assigned including, but not limited to purchasing, accounts payable and human resources in accordance with prescribed procedures.

Entry Level (< 2 years of work experience)
Tasks:
Supports month end closing functions along with data analysis along with weekly, monthly, KPI reporting
Helps to resolve purchase order discrepancies, and monitor aged accounts payable
Audit and manages credit card expense purchases
Support new product releases using the TDR process through BUS
Support of new product quotes along with entering cost reductions in BUS and maintain monthly reporting
Actively participates in cycle counting responsibilities
Act as backup to purchasing, and customer service functions
Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree in Business/Accounting AND 2 years' accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
OR
Bachelor's Degree in Business/Accounting
A Master's Degree in required field = Credit given for 2 years of work experience.
A PhD/Doctorate in required field = Credit given for 3 years of work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Understanding of discrete parts manufacturing in a metal working environment.
Strong PC skills including SAP (BUS), Excel, Power Point, M/S Outlook, Word.
Successful candidate will be a self-starter, team leader, innovative and entrepreneurial with a reputation for reliability and a positive attitude
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
