Production Supervisor

Job Description ZF is a global leader in driveline and chassis technology as well as active and passive safety technology. Position Responsibilities:
Maintains operation of assigned area within the Operating Plan budget and manpower, meeting production schedules and quality standards.
Ensures safety procedures are adhered to and hazards eliminated.
Supervises and coaches assigned manufacturing employees.
Monitors manpower within work area.
Communicates daily to management and customer base.
Assigns tasks to individuals working within work area.
Enables assigned team members to meet responsibilities for continuous quality and production improvements, preventive maintenance, customer service, safety, housekeeping, controllable cost planning, methods and equipment utilization.
Seeks ways to improve operations, cost effectiveness and product quality to meet, or exceed, customer satisfaction.
Assists work team in securing appropriate resources to meet or exceeds its goals.
Communicates the production schedule.
Works with engineering on special projects as needed for assigned area.
Communicates Quality alerts as appropriate.
Maintains production within work area by observing employees and assisting when necessary.
Maintains inventory records within work area.
Understands and generates plans for manpower and associated budgets.
Works with support groups to ensure work area success.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
Two plus years manufacturing experience preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt status preferred.

Physical stamina to work overtime hours consecutively
Physical strength to lift and maneuver heavy parts

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
